I went to Moran Chevrolet this month to purchase a used car, always a daunting experience but when salesman, Larry Kane, greeted me at the door I felt that everything would be okay. When I told him I wanted a 2004 Tracker, he quickly explained to me why I didn't want one - safety issues as well as potential mechanical problems with an older car. These were the same reasons my grandson didn't want me to buy a Tracker. Larry showed me several great options and I chose a 2009 HHR. When I called my grandson to tell him my decision, Larry asked to talk to Josh to assure him that all was well. All the details - financing, transferring plates, insurance - were all taken care of by the staff at Moran in a timely manner. Before I left the dealership, Larry took the time to show me the ins and outs of the car and reviewed how Onstar works. I would definitely purchase another car from Moran Chevrolet. I wanted to send you an email regarding my latest car purchase.  I own a

 

2008 Dodge Avenger and I was interested in lowering my car payment and driving a car which was easier to maneuver (FYI- Avengers are difficult to parallel park and have a horrible blind spot) I have wanted to do this for a while but honestly, I DREAD car shopping. My past experience with car shopping has not been positive and this time I expected the same. Bait and switch pricing, haggling over my trade in price with me ending up paying too much in the end, being overcharged for a car and walking out of the dealership feeling generally "screwed over" because I am a female shopping for a car. A migrane and being angry when car shopping is not uncommon for me.

 

 

 

I was pleasantly surprised at my entire experience at your dealership. I started online and left my information on the website over the weekend. By Monday morning, I had a voicemail from Hillary. I returned her call and made arrangements to come in test drive/price a Cruze.  Still dreading this, I made my way over to the dealership on Tuesday.  I was greeted in a sincere manner when I walked in, I met Hillary and from start to finish, she was

 

great- I was shocked that she remembered our short phone conversation.

 

Hillary listened to my thoughts and expectations for the car and made suggestions based on my price range. The pricing was worked out in a way that I could understand it and it was explained thoroughly.  There were no surprises.  When it came time to get a trade in price, I felt that Hillary was on my side. She was an advocate for ME . She got the best price that she could and was working on my behalf.

 

I think that Hillary said it best when I kept asking her about hidden charges and pricing on my Avenger. She said " I wouldn't do that to you, you are my customer".  WOW!! Never before have i hear that!

 

 

 

I walked out of the dealership on Tuesday with plans to pick up my brand new Chevy Cruze leased car  on Wednesday. Yes, it was that easy!

 

 

 

When I picked up my car, Hillary and I sat in my new car and she explained all of the features to me. I know she must have been busy but she took the time and she even gave me a tour of the service department and introduced me to various key staff members. When I signed for the car, every charge was

 

explained to me and in the end, I was HAPPY!  

 

In the end,  I felt at ease that I was treated fairly and like a valued customer!  it was painless and actually exciting to get a new car!!!  I love my new Cruze :)

 

 

 

 

 

So, I wanted to THANK YOU for making thing such a positive experience for me.  I am not used to this and I wanted to tell you about my experience. We buy/lease cars on the average of every 3 years or so. This was by far the easiest and most pleasant car shopping experience that I have had.  See you next time!

Everything went really well with the entire transaction. Michelle and I drove up to Ft. Gratiot last week-end and spotted the G6. We had originally found a different one on-line, which was what we initially were going for. But this G6 was more to our liking.

 

We called Monday morning and spoke to Chris Aleksander and Dave Perala. Tuesday around noon the car was at the Clinton Township location for us to test drive. We bought it that afternoon.

 

Chris and Dave both made the process of turning in our lease vehicle (from Moran) and buy this one, very easy.

 

They are both extremely professional and very knowledgeable. We have been Moran customers for years for that very reason- Chris and Dave. They always do what they can to make our purchases or leases work.

Let me tell you that Kevn could have talked me into buying one of his used cars or even a new car but he knew I needed something more economical so after weighing all the options he told me that to buy my present car was the cheapest way to go.  When I told him that my Mom was in the hospital he was able to expidite the process and we got in done right then and there.
