Discover the 2025 Corvette E-Ray

Every C8 model has a specialty. For the 2025 Corvette E-Ray, it's simple: outrun everything else it lines up against. That said, here's a detailed overview of the vehicle.

Chevy had plenty going right with the Stingray and Z06, so it made sense to pull from both. From the Stingray, the engineers brought over the 495-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine. They then added a front electric motor and a 1.1-kWh battery. The hybrid side brings 160 more horsepower, taking the total to 655 horsepower.

Four things from the Z06 made the cut for E-Ray duty: the wider body, carbon-ceramic brakes, staggered wheels (20-inch front/21-inch rear), and the fat tires (275 mm fronts and 345 mm rears). As expected, the numbers here are wild: zero to sixty happens in 2.5 seconds (0.1 quicker than the Z06), and the quarter-mile wraps up in 10.5 seconds.

It Won't Take Winter Off

The added grip from the electric motor driving the front wheels not only helps the E-Ray hook up on track but also gives it true four-season capability. You can actually see when the AWD system kicks in through the E-Ray performance app on the center display. To reinforce its all-year mission, Chevy equips it with all-season tires as standard.

Make an Entrance (or Exit) Your Way

When activated, Stealth Mode lets you travel approximately 3 to 4 miles on battery power alone, enough to get you in or out of the neighborhood before the LT2 wakes up. Note that you can activate the engine earlier by accelerating sharply or going over 45 mph.

Other Features

The E-Ray's suspension stays stiff on the track and smooth on the streets, thanks to the quick-reacting magic of magnetic dampers. You'll also find an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, an adjustable launch control system, a removable roof, and HD front and rear vision cameras.

Pick Your Comfort

Chevy offers this model in three flavors. Notable highlights of the base 1LZ trim include GT1 seats dressed in Mulan leather, a Bose 10-speaker sound system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a head-up display, and an eight-inch infotainment display with wireless CarPlay and Android Auto.

The 2LZ heats the seats and steering wheel, throws in two cargo nets, upgrades the audio system, and makes features like performance video and data recorder standard. The top-of-the-range 3LZ boasts upgraded GT2 seats, a carbon fiber steering wheel, and soft-touch materials pretty much everywhere your hand lands.
