1. It Has Excellent Ride Comfort
The Malibu has that perfect in-between ride feel of neither being too firm nor too soft. Its ride quality is also above average, making it an excellent choice for people who value having the best experience possible. Your comfort is enhanced even further by the adjustable front seats. The standard driver seat can be moved in six directions manually, but you can choose to upgrade to an 8-way power seat in the RS model and higher.
2. It Lets You Stay Connected Everywhere
You can stay connected to the internet and your contacts via the 8-inch infotainment screen in the Malibu. Each trim is Wi-Fi capable, and they also have smartphone compatibility, so you can connect your Android or Apple phone to the system via Bluetooth. Doing this lets you call your contacts, answer incoming calls, message people, and hear your text messages while you drive, and you can do each of those things using voice commands.
3. It Acts Like Your Co-Pilot
Your Malibu essentially acts like your co-pilot, constantly scanning your road to detect and warn you about danger. It can tell when you’re drifting out of your lane, in danger of colliding with a car or pedestrian in front of you, or need a little help via automatic emergency braking. There’s also a following distance indicator that lets you see how many seconds it would take to collide with the driver ahead, and there are several more features available.
4. It Gives You Ways to Stay Entertained
If you’re a fan of music, audiobooks, or other forms of audible entertainment, then be sure to connect your smartphone to the infotainment system. Doing that lets you ask the car to play media from apps you’ve got on your phone, such as Apple Music or Audible. If you get the 1LT or 2LT model, then you also get a trial subscription to SiriusXM, which you can upgrade to a 3-year subscription if you like.
