There are big changes to the 2027 Chevrolet Bolt EV after its hiatus. Its upgrades include faster charging times, innovative technology, and more. Moran Chevrolet shares all the exciting updates.

Range and Charging

The 2027 Chevrolet Bolt EV uses an all-electric powertrain to deliver up to 210 horsepower and 169 lb-ft of torque, which is slightly higher in horsepower than before. It has an increased EPA-estimated electric range of 262 miles due to its new battery. It’s also now compatible with 150 kW DC fast charging, so your charge can climb from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 26 minutes, meaning it can charge 2.5 times faster than before.

High-Tech Interior

There are also notable enhancements to the technology in the cutting-edge cabin. The advanced color LCD display now spans 11.3 inches, and the cabin features a larger 11-inch color Driver Information Center. It’s also now equipped with Google built-in™ capabilities, giving you hands-free help with Google Assistant™, turn-by-turn directions and live traffic updates from Google Maps™, and the ability to download your preferred apps with Google Play™.

New RS Trim

For the first time, the new Chevy Bolt is offered with an RS trim. It features its own unique look with Gloss Black roof rails, 17-inch black wheels, RS badging, and Evotex™ seats with red stitching inside. There are also two bold new exterior color options available: Habanero Orange and Atomic Yellow.
